May 9-10, 2008: "ASAH INDONESIA II" Classic & Jazz Musics combined with 'Happening Art' performance

Advance Maluku in collaboration with JakArt is presenting "ASAH INDONESIA II" music performance that will be held on May 9-10, 2008 at Taman Budaya Maluku, in Karang Panjang Ambon. This event will feature: Ary Sutedja-David (an internationally known classical pianist), Asep Hidayat (celloist), Rene van Helsdingen (jazz pianist) and Mikhail David (happening artist), with an opening performance by Mrs. Mans Muskita.

 

March 31, 2008: "Creating Economic Convergence in Archipelagic Islands Provinces by leveraging Cluster Initiative Development Approach" - PART I
& Signing Ceremony of Cooperation between Pattimura University & Maastricth School of Management

A joint symposium & workshop between Pattimura University and The Advance Maluku Team on new economic development model. The first part of this event has taken place on March 31, 2008 at the Main Auditorium of Pattimura University.  We had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Dr. Jan van Dalen as our keynote speaker for this seminar.

Prof. van Dalen presented the "New Economy" model and its relevance to Global world as well as to Maluku. He also noted the strategic importance of Desa Mandiri Maluku program to Maluku's economic development efforts as well as the fact that the concepts behind Desa Mandiri Maluku Program is very much inline with the "New Economy" model.

The symposium is concluded with a signing of Letter of Intent between Pattimura University (Represented by The Rector, Prof.Dr. H.B. Tetelepta) and Maastricht School of Management to open up an Internationally-recognized Business School in Ambon.

 

APRIL 14, 2008: "Creating Economic Convergence in Archipelagic Islands Provinces by leveraging Cluster Initiative Development Approach" - PART II

A joint symposium & workshop between Pattimura University and The Advance Maluku Team on new economic development model. The event will take place on April 14, 2008 at the Main Auditorium of Pattimura University. Various subject matter experts will be presence to discuss the new economic development model & approach that is currently being implemented by The Advance Maluku Team in Maluku.

APRIL 15, 2008: Inauguration Ceremony of "DESA MANDIRI MALUKU" Program

On April 15, 2008, Maluku will be marking the beginning on a new economy era when the DESA MANDIRI MALUKU program is launched. This is the first program in its kind globally that collaborate various stakeholders to form a complete industry Value Chain without the need of foreign investment. The key theme of this program is on Leveraging local communities capacities and competencies in creating a Globally-Competitive Industries. The Inauguration Ceremony will take place at Hative Village, Ambon.

The inauguration ceremony will be followed by MOUs signing ceremony between The Advance Maluku Team & Pemuda Masyarakat Agribisnis & Agro Industri Indonesia.
