hundreds of other cities and municipalities around the world they voice their
concerns on the grueling issues currently faced by mankind: conflicts.
Indonesia is represented by Elya
Muskitta (Chairman of Advance Maluku) and Zairin Salampessy (Radio BakuBae).
The conference offers an appealing programme that tackles critical issues of
conflicts, i.e. conflict prevention, peace building and post-conflict
reconstruction. The diversity of the program brought together various magnitude
of experiences and knowledge that are of strategic importance to post conflict
areas such as Maluku.
The first day of the conference focuses on an analysis of the current state of affairs and challenges faced by conflict/ post conflict regions. Subsequently, the second day is aimed to define the way forward.
Jan Pronk is facilitating all the plenary sessions in both days. His apt and in-depth knowledge of the overall situation and conditions of the conflict regions coupled with his vast experiences in the world of diplomacy and politic makes him the most appropriate person for the job.
The Conference is being held at THE PEACE PALACE building. One of the famous Landmark of The City of The Hague.
